Why This Film Matters
After losing her husband to the silent wounds of war, Cindy Vann turned her grief into purpose. Her tireless advocacy transformed how PTSD is treated in the VA — saving countless lives.
Now, her story is becoming a film — one that will not only honor veterans like Phil but shine a light on healing, resilience, and redemption.

On May 10th, at the National Medal of Honor Museum, our story began.
That night, we honored a hero, Phil Vann, a veteran who carried the unseen wounds of war
with courage and silence. But we also honored the woman who turned grief into action, Cindy Vann —
his widow, her voice, and now the change-maker behind a movement of hope.
Surrounded by supporters, veterans, and visionaries,
Legacy Cinema was born — not just a film, it’s a movement.
This is her story.
This is his legacy.
And this is the beginning of something eternal.
